Teams

The unit is organized into three teams which use complementary approaches to advance the research themes of the Unit. Regular meetings are organised between the senior managers and team leaders, primarily to discuss scientific strategy, project harmonisation, team participation in collective tasks and budgeting.

At the end of the previous quinquennial review, UMR0914 had 27 permanent academic staff and researchers (including two physicians), five contracted researchers and an average of 10 doctoral students. Its technical staff consisted of one assistant-engineer and three technicians (one for the animal facility and two analysts). The technician/academic ratio was therefore 25%. During the pas period, the Unit’s size has diminished, with the non-replacement of five individuals: two retirements (1 IE, 1 AI), a family move (AI), a personal resignation (IR) and the long-term medical absence of a young staff scientist.  Numbers have recently risen again with the arrival of an AgroParisTech academic (MR), an INRA academic (DR), three physicians, an INRA AI and two INRA and AgroParisTech technicians. The technician/academic ratio has thus improved to 35%.
